Culture for Children joins forces with AFG Autisme
In March 2025, we formalised our new partnership with AFG Autisme, an association committed to supporting people with autism. A further step in our efforts to help children with disabilities.

AFG Autisme: a key player in the field of cognitive disability
For over 20 years, AFG Autisme has been offering support tailored to the needs of children, adolescents and adults with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorders). Their mission: to develop the individual skills of their beneficiaries, while promoting socio-cultural inclusion and improving professional practices.
With a network of more than 70 medico-social establishments, services and facilities throughout France, AFG Autisme offers socio-educational and therapeutic services tailored to each age group and degree of autonomy.
A new operational partnership for greater inclusion
By joining forces with AFG Autisme, Culture for Children aims to make its offer even more inclusive by welcoming the association's groups to its programmes in the Paris region: ‘Art en immersion’, in partnership with the Atelier des Lumières, and ‘Architectures Extraordinaires’, based around the Musée Jacquemart-André.
Children will be able to take advantage of our different programmes, combining the acquisition of knowledge and artistic practice, with a tailored approach based on the visual arts and dance. They can learn about the digital arts and architecture in a fun, multi-sensory way.
At the same time, AFG Autisme is committed to providing us with its expertise on ASD, through awareness-raising workshops for Culture pour l'Enfance teams. These training sessions will focus on the particularities of ASD, as well as the best practices to adopt when interacting with autistic audiences at cultural events.
This partnership is based on mutual collaboration between our two organisations, with a shared objective: to make culture accessible and appropriate for all children, whatever their disability.
